U.S. Representative on U. Nations Body to Deal With Indonesia
Reed. 6 p.m. Washington. Oct. 1. President Truman has appointed Dr. Frank P. Graham, president ot North Carolina University, to represent lhe United States in a United Nations effort to solve the Indonesian dispute. Australia and Belgium, the other two countries on the International Committee which will Use “good offices" Io try to selfie the dispute, have already appointed I heir representatives—Mr Justice Kirby (Australia) and Dr. Van Zeeland (Belgium). The Security Council appointed the committee on August 25.
