Guard of Honour for Mr. Churchill May Not be Permitted
London, Sept. 30 . The War Office is investigating and reporting on the provision of a military guard of honour for Mr. Cliurchill when he visits Brighton on Friday for the Conservative Party conference, according to "The Daily Worker.” The paper quotes an official spokesman as saying: "The War Office’s permission is necessary for supplying a guard of honour and no application has been made to us. We are investigating the case.” The "Daily Worker” add s that it is to be provided by the sth (Cinque Ports) Battalion of the Royal Sussex Regiment.
