N.Z. Minister in Moscow Coming Home on Leave

(P.A.) Wellington, Oct. 1. Arrangements have been made to enable Mr. C. W. Boswell, New Zealand Minister to the U.S.S.R. to return to New Zealand during the summer months. Announcing this today the Prime Minister and Minister for External Affairs (Mr. Fraser) said Mr. Boswell had been absent from New Zealand for more than three years and it. was in accordance with the Government's practice, as it was with other Governments, to enable members with diplomatic posts overseas to have some home leave after they had served a term of duty abroad and at the same time to renew their contacts with their own people and to refresh the.r knowledge oX conditions in their own country. During Mr. Boswell’s absence the first secretary, Mr. D. P. Costello, will be Charge d’Affaires.
