London, May 3. The “Tinies” Stockholm correspondent says the Swedish police are searching for swindlers who succeeded in gaining large sums of money with forged State lottery tickets. Their method was to present cleverly forged winning tickets to the hanks immediately after the winning numbers were officially announced. The banks’ custom is to advance money against the tickets as security, after deducting a small charge The swindlers operated in various parts of the country.
