RIFLE SHOOTING
WANGANUI DEFENCE CLUB. On Saturday last the Wanganui Defence Rifle Club fired a double range shoot at 800 yards to count for the club’s championship and the Carr Long Range Cup. Top score was shared by Mrs. Howard and E. Farley, both scoring 96 off the rifle. Next, week’s shoot will be at 900 yards, the final for the cup competition. All competitors are asked to be on the range not later than 12.30 p.m. Following are the detailed scores ot last Saturday’s shoot:—
