ISSUED ORDER FOR EXECOTTION OF MOSSOLINI
Recd. 8.10 p.m. London, March 10 Togliatti, Italian Communist leader, in an interview in ‘Il Messageru,” says he issued the order for the summary execution of Mussolini, says “The Times” Rome correspondent. Togliatti adds that as vice-president and secretary-general of the Communisat Party and a resistance movement leader, he broadcast two days before Mussolini’s capture that if the dictator and his henchmen were found they should be identified and then shot, ' since no inquiry was necessary, their crimes being self-evident.” News came soon afterward- that Mussolini had been condemned 1o death by three resistance leaders, Cadorna, Parri and Longo, and executed by Communist partisans.
