DELAY PREVENTED M.C.C. ELEVEN STOPPING IN WANGANUI YESTERDAY

A delay of approximately two hours in their travelling schedule made it impossible for the English M.C.C. cricket eleven to break their journey from Auckland to Wellington for afternoon tea in Wanganui yesterday.
