SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTIONS
Recd. 9.30 p.m. Adelaide, March 9. At the close of the first day’s counting in the South Australian election, voting in which was held yesterday, showed that, as expected, the Play ford Libral-Country League Government would be returned with an increased majority. The Government had recaptured at least three seats from Labour and is holding all its present seats. The Playford Government is the only non-Labour Government in Australia.
