NEW ZEALAND BUTTER IN CANADA
Recd. 8.30 p.m. Vancouver, March 8 Four thousand boxes ,of New Zealand butter have arrived, relieving one of the worst shortages ever felt in Western Canada. Vancouver stores were without butter for several days despite a ration of six ounces a week. The butter, which arrived on the east coast and was shipped across country, is the first of a larger shipment expected to last until the local supply improves.
