Recd. 8.50 p.m. London, March 6. While Sir Stafford Cripps was speaking in the India debate in the House of Commons yesterday, Mr. Boothby (Conservative), rose and asked the Speaker if it was in order for a member to peel and eat an orange during a debate. The Speaker replied that as it was out of order to chew gum, or eat chocolate in the Chamber, it was certainly out of order to eat an orange. The offender, Mr- Murray, who is an examiner, hastily put his orange nway.
