KILLED BY FALL OF LIMESTONE
(P.A.) Oamaru, Feb. 25. As a result of injuries received through a fall of limestone at the Totara Limeworks quarry, about 1.30 p.m. to-day, Mr. John McCone, married, of Awamoa. died at the Oamaru Public Hospital later in the afternoon.
Mr. McCone’s both legs were severely crushed by the fall of limestone. Another employee. Mr. William John Newton, married, of Oamaru, received bruises on one leg.
