LONG TEACHING SERVICE ENDS
STAFF CHANGES APPROVED Two teachers with long years of service with the Wanganui Education Board are retiring shortly and are to receive letters ot thanks from the board for their work- They are Mr. M. R. McEwen, head teacher, Milson’s Line, and Miss D. E. Dabinett, infant mistress, Tawhero. Mr. McEwen has completed 45 years 10 months with the Wanganui Educaton Board, mostly in the Palmerston North area. He has been at the' Milson’s Line School since 1928. Miss Dabinett has completed 34 years with the board. For the last ten years she has been at the Tawhero School, and prior to that was at Hunterville, Keith Street, St. John’s and Aramoho. Staff changes approved by the board are:—
