MASTER MERUIT OFF SCENE FOR YEAR
It is reported that the cross-country horse Master Meruit will not be seen out this year. He went wrong lasi winter, and it has been decided to give him a lengthy spell. Master Meruit is only eight years old and hopes are entertained that a lengthy spell will restore complete soundness Master Meruit put un an excellent record by wins over fences at Egmont and Wellington and in the Grand National Steeplechase.
