“CRICKET MY DESTINY” LATEST LIBRARY BOOKS Of topical interest to New Zealand because Walter R. Hammond hopes to have his touring M.C.C. team playing in New Zealand within a few weeks is Hammond's autobiography, "Cricket My Destiny," a copy of which has been secured among -the latest non-fiction accessions to tha Wanganui Public Library. Hammond has written his reminiscences in plenty of detail, and has traced out the notable experiences which have proved to everybody's entire agreement that cricket, was his destiny. His book is a direct narrative of cricket at Home and abroad, wfih passages of "travel talk” which are common to such memoirs. Sir Pelham Warner, a legendary figure in the game, has provided a forward to the book.
