(0.c.) Ohakune, Feb. 20 The annual sports of the Ohakune District High School were held on February 18 and 19 under ideal cli- | matic conditions. Some good con- | tests were witnessed, notably in the mile, whm a dead-heat resulted between AWios and G. Elliott. die senior long jump also produced a close contest, being won by G. Elliott with a jump of over 16 feet. Owing to the unsuitability of the ground no times were recorded. The sports were largely attended by parents and other members of the public.
