WAHINE RETURNS FROM SYDNEY A VERY FULL SHIP
(P.A.) Wellington, Feb. 24. Completing her first round passenger trip across the Tasman, the steamer Wahine is expected in the stream in Wellington Harbour at 8 o'clock to-morrow morning. She will berth, after medical and customs inspection, between 9 and 10 o’clock. A big demand for passages from Sydney was made, and the Wahine was a very full ship for the voyage back, said an official of the Union Company to-night. Many New Zealanders who had waited for considerable periods for transport were among her passengers. The new Australian Trade Commissioner to. New Zealand, Major-General J. J. Murray, D.S.O. and Bar. M.C., V.D., will be among tne passengers. General Murray has had a distinguished military career. Before the second World War he was managing direct-
