EARNED £2 PER SECOND RIDING A HORSE
The name of Brownlie again figures in the field of sport, but on this occasion it is not Rugby. One of the younger members of the noted Rugby family, Earle, was successful at Wairoa on Saturday in mastering a notorious buck-jumping outlaw which, the showman claimed, had not been conquered before in the Dominion. Brownlie was successful in retaining his seat for ten seconds, and lor this achievement received a cash prize of £2O.
