OBITUARY
mk. p. McCaffrey. Mr. Patrick McCaffrey, of Huntly, has died at the age of 9(1. Mr. McCaffrey was born at Chapel Hall, Lanarkshire, Scotland, in 1856, and came tc New Zealand in the ship Westland about 71 yearn ago. He lived in various parts of thc South Island, and wai a mine manager in thc Nelson Province for a number of yearn. Later he entered the grocery trade and was in Auckland, Wellington and Nelson He retired abotQ 13 years ago and went to reside ai Huntly. Mr. and Mrs. McCaffrey would have celebrated their diamond wedding on March 22 this year Ho is survived by his wile, two daughters and two sons. There a"e 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grand-children.
