PLAN TO REVISE THE LEVEL OF INDUSTRY IN GERMANY

Recd. 8.25 p.m. London, Jan. 21 A plan to revise the level of German industry permitted under the Potsdam Agreement, has been prepared by the British and American authorities in Germany, and will be discussed by the Foreign Ministers' Council when it meets in Moscow in March. Disclosing this at a Press conference in London yesterday, Mr. Hynd, Minister Responsible for the British Zone, said steps had been taken to see that no plant required under the new scheme will be dismantled, pending a decision by the Council. He added that the British authorities were proceeding with the intention of socialising industry in the British zone, and the necessary steps, were being studied.
