OVERTIME WORKED ON THE WHARVES IN AUCKLAND

(P.A.) Auckland, Jan. 20 For the first time in more than seven weeks overtime was worked on the Auckland waterfront to-night. Watersiders adopted the recommendation ot th e National Council of their union to resume overtime, at a special stopwork meeting in the morning. A labour force ot about 200 men was employed to-day. Non-unionists were employed in large numbers to augment the number of union men available. Ten overseas ships and live coastal vessels worked overtime tonight.
