RANGITIKEI CRICKET TEAMS FOR MATCHES AGAINST TAIHAPE
(O.C. Marton, Dec. 2. Representative A and B cricket matches between North and South Rangitikei will be played on Saturday at Taihape and Marton respectively. A colts match between the two associations will be played at Mangaweka. The following teams have been selected to represent South Rangitikei: A match.—D. A. Cameron (captain), M. Marshall (Porewa), M, Wysocki, I. Dickson, P. Johnson (Old Boys), J. Barnes (Junction), D- B. Sladden, J. Openshaw (Marton), R. Torrens, S. Kent, S. Turner (Bulls). Colts.—J. M. Grant (captain), R. McChesney, W. McChesney, D. Robertson (High School), B. Gray, N. Williams (Porewa), W. Sanders (Marton), V. Simcox (Old Boys), R. Fittler, K. Kerr (Junction), R. Russell (Bulls). Teams will travel by bus leaving Marton 8.15 a.m. B team will be.—N. Amon (captain), E. Calcinai, R. Langbien, M. Webster (Bulls), A. Haywood, H. Park (Marton), S. Allen (Junction), J. Arkwright, R. Parkinson (Porewa), A. Duncan (Old Boys), D. McLennan (Marton). Play commences at 10.30 a.m. for all games.
