COLLEGIATE EIGHT TO ROW AT CHRISTCHURCH
On Thursday Wanganui Collegiate School’s senior eight will row against Christ College 6n the Waimakariri River, near Christchurch. The team, which will be in the charge of the coach, Mr. R. O. C. Marks, will leave for Christchurch to-day. The race is timed to start about 12.30 p.m. and the crew will start the return journey on Thursday night. The crew is as follows:—R. Bayly (Bow), D. B. Horsley (2), B. D. Wilson (3), P. J. Barker (4), E. W Abraham (50), B. I. Williams (6),G. W.Pitt (7), C. H. Williamson (stroke), C. Allen (cox), W. A. Williams (reserve)
This race in former years was rowed on the Avon.
