SCENE IN CHURCH
OBJECTION TO SERVICE.
J London, Sept. 22. A number of men and women were ejected from St. Cuthbert's Church Kensington, after a demonstration 'staged by the National Union of Protestants against the celebration of the Mass.
The assistant priest had just reached the most, solemn part of the ceremony when a man jumped up and declared: “This is a parish church of the Church of England. Masses are unlawful.’’ He dashed to the pulpit, and began to read- Members of the congregation dragged him from the pulpit. Other demonstrators, one of whom was showering leaflets among the congregation, were ejected after struggles in the aisle.
