ARCHBISHOP OF COLOGNE ARRIVES TO VISIT GERMAN P.O.W.—Cardinal Joseph Frings, 59-year-old Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cologne, arrived in London on September 24. He is there as the guest of Cardinal Griffin, Archbishop of Westminster, and will make a seven-day tour of prisoner-of-war eamps. The two Cardinals last met in Rome last February, when they both received the Red Hat from His Holiness the Pope. Cardinal Frings was consecrated Archbishop of Cologne during the war, and his stubborn opposition to Nazism earned the backing of responsible Germans of all creeds.
