FRESH JUVENILES AT TE AROHA
(Special) Auckland, Oct. 4. Several fresh two-year-olds are down to make their debut at To Aroha on Saturday, and they include a few high-priced lots at the last yearling sales. In Saturday’s fields are two brackets. Mr. W. S. Goosman has Deslow, a bix\ n gelding by Robin Goodfellow from the Paper Money mare Desirable, costing 1100 guineas, and Niloch, a black colt by Bulloch from Night Spi, for which he paid 2000 guineas. Mr. N. Souter (owner of Artificer) has the 750 guineas chestnut gelding Farhad, by Nizami from Dignified, and Blue Riband, by Foxbridge from Shirred Ribbon.
This quartet will be making their bow on Saturday and apart from JJeslow little is known of their galloping ability. At Pacroa last week Deslow was sprinted about three furlongs with a local filly and the manner in which he stretched out suggested possibilities as a racehorse. Ha is very like Representative in appearance and style of moving and while he is not at his best yet he may be forward enough tn give an excellent account of himself.
