VALUES AT WESTFIELD

(P.A.) Auckland, Oct. 2. At the Westfield stock sale ox beef was penned in large numbers and values eased about Is per lOOlbs. Cow and heifer beef was in less than average supply and said readily, with values on a par with last week’s sale. Although there was a steady demand for the sheep penned in average numbers, values for prime wethers eased.
