The Most Rev. Thomas O'Shea, Archbishop of Wellington and Metropolitan of New Zealand, will leave for Australia by air within the next two weeks to attend the diamond jubilee of the ordination ot the Archbishop of Brisbane, the Most Rev. James Duhig. The celebrations will be held in Brisbane on September 22 and 23,
Archdeacon T. H. C. Partridge, vicar of Pukekohe and Archdeacon of Manukau, has been appointed vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church, Epsom, where he will succeed the Rev. J. L. Litt, who has retired. Archdeacon Partridge is at present acting-warden of St. John’s Theological College. The date on which he will leave Pukekohe and the name of his successor have not been announced. The Rev. D. H. A. Niblock, who has been assisting in the Pukekohe parish during Archdeacon Partridge's absence at St. John's College, has been appointed vicar of Kaitaia.
