Chicago, Aug. 27. The colt. Eternal Reward won the richest American Derby worth 102,250 dollars and established record time for the mile and a-quarter of 2min. 2 4-ssec. The Beau Pere filly Honeymoon, who started favourite, finished a poor ninth. The rade was worth 83,450 dollars to Eternal Reward’s owner.
