BIRST “EMPTY SADDLES” OF SEASON (0.C.) Marton, May 21. Hounds met at Mr. K. Duncan's, ‘‘Flockhart,” Marton, last Wednesday, and the meet drew a big following of riders and spectators. A good afternoon was enjoyed over the homestead and adjoining properties of Messrs. Harold Smith, A. C. Vile, and Stewart. At the conclusion of the hunt Mr. and Mrs Duncan entertained the followers at their home to afternoon tea. The meet at Heaton Park last Saturday drew another large following, and a surprisingly large field of juvenile hunters, which speaks well for (he future and the interest that the Pony Clubs have aroused. Prior to this meet accidents were •nil, but on Saturday there were several empty saddles, but nothing serious. This may have been accounted tor by the heavy going and some open ditches
