FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS
.MATCH AT OHINGAITI (0.C.) HUnterville, April 22. There was a chapter of accidents in a practice Rugby match between and Ohlngalti played at Ohingaip on Saturday. The game, which was keenly contested throughout, had only been in progress a few minutes when Fred Millar, son of the popular Ohingaiti secretary (Mr. Norman Millar), sustained a fractured leg and was conveyed to Taihape Hospital after receiving first-aid ®n the ground. Later in the game, V. Hurley (Hunterville) sustained the fracture of two ribs, and Gordon Rowe (Ohingaiti) will likewise be on lhe bank for a time with torn muscles of the nelvi*. Hunterville won the match, 5-0, J. Illtson scoring a try which was converted bv C. Wright. Roth teams were without some of their host players, but such a willing encounter gives promise of an exciting game when the teams meet at Hunterville on Saturday for the opening match of the competition.
