SECRET SERVICE
BIGGER BRITISH VOTE Recd. 6 p.m. London, March 7. Last year’s Civil Estimates in Britain included a token amount of £lOO for the Secret Service. The estimate for 1946, issued to-day, gives the amount for Secret Service requirements al. £2,500,000. The Civil Estimates’ total is more than £11.600,000 —an apparent increase over last year’s figure of £6,500,000, but last year there were other token amounts, making an accurate comparison difficult.
