TO PLAY AUSTRALIA
NEW ZEALAND TEAM CHOSEN (P.A.) Christchurch, March 8. The New Zealand team selected by J. L. Kerr and W. M. Wallace to play Australia at Wellington at the end of this month was announced to-night by the secretary of the N.Z. Cricket Council. Twelve players have been selected, one to be dropped to 12th. man on the morning of the match. The management comriittee of the Cricket Council has appointed W. A. Hadlee, of Otago, captain of the team The team is as follows: P. E. Whitelaw, V. J. Scott, W. M. Wallace, J. Cowie, D. C. Cleverley, C. C. Burke (Auckland); W. A. Hadlee (Otago>; C. G. Rowe, E. W. T. Tindi] 1 (Wellington); D. A. Mcßae, L. A. Butterfield, W. McD. Anderson (Canterbury).
