DELAY IN SHIPMENTS Buenos Aires. March 7. Argentina is already 40,000 tons behind 1946 export pledges, due to a packing house strike which is paralysing meat shipments to Europe. The Government has legalised the strike as a warning that they could impede food shipments if Britain participates in any move to isolate Argentina. Britain has already diverted one meat-carrying ship from here to New Zealand.
