DEMONSTRATORS CHARGED BY POLICE Recd. 1 a.m. New Delhi, March 7. Crowds of students and mill workers stoned passing vehicles, tore down decorative arches and set fire to two buildings while a procession wa: passing through the streets of New Delhi as part of the final day of the week’s Victory celebrations. Police armed with lathis (batons) charged the demonstrators.
