BIBLE SOCIETY MEETING. (0.C.) Mangaweka, March 4. The Ohingaiti branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society held its annual meeting recently Mrs C. J. G. Samuda, who was in the chair, introduced the new organiser, Miss Ennis of Wellington, who gave a very Interesting and instructive talk on the work of the society. The election of officers followed and appreciation was expressed at the secretary, Mrs. Cole, taking the office for the 21st. year in succession. All other office-holders were also re-elected. It is understood that last year’s collection was the highest ever made in the district which is most gratifying to those who assisted in th s work.
