MARTON PARK At a meeting of lhe* Marton Borough Council on Wednesday night Cr. Mogridge reported that the Reserves Committee had met a deputation from the Mai ton Athletic Club on (he Marton Park during the week-end and had inspected the cycling track which they found in a bad state, especially on the eastern side, where lumps of turf had been dug out and thrown on the side, it would cost a good deal to pul it In order again. It would be impossible to carry out the work in time the club to hold any sports this season. The club solicited the assistance of the council in placing the track in readiness lor sports next season. Cr.
