INQUEST CONCLUDED
WANGANUI BOY KILLED I? OTAKI LAST SATURDAY
A verdict that Theodore Richard Harold Hickson, aged 12, of Campbell Street, Wanganui, died from severe head injuries received when the cycle he was riding collided with a heavy lorry at Otaki last Saturday afternoon was returned by the coroner, Mr. 11. Nicholson. The inquest was concluded in Otaki recently. It was stated in evidence that the boy appeared new to a cycle and swerved just as the lorry was abreast of him. The driver was travelling slowly.
The coroner and police extended their sympathy to the relatives. Mr. Hickson, the boy’s uncle, expressed his thanks for all the attention given.
