EARLY PRODUCTION FORECAST Recd. 6 p.m. London, Jan. 8 The simultaneous production of newspapers in far distant places by radio phototelegraphy will soon* be possible, the chairman of Cable and Wireless (Sir Edward Wilshaw) said. This would be the outcome of present experiment* which have so far developed to the stage where four colour prints ad pictures have been successfully transmitted between England and Australia. It would soon be possible tor a grandmother in Britain to see pictures, of her grandchild in Australia a few hours after the baby’s birth.
Sir Edward Wilshaw added: “I thi k the ordinary man will soon be sending a photograph to his friends overseas as he now telegraphs greetings.”
