Ltd., the chairman, Brigadier H. Cohen, said there were many influences bearing on tnal point. Some of these were the ability of eager buyers in devastated countries to finance their purchases, the future disposal of large Government stocks in the United States, and the degree of Government assistance given to producers in certain countries. At lhe moment, Brigadier Cohen said, the market lor zinc was a very nrm one and no accumulation of unsold production was anticipated during the current financial year. Indeed the company was unable to meet all inquiries from buyers. In relerc .ee to industrial troubles in the Commonwealth, Brigadier Cohen said that it had apparently yet to be realised by some I hat it was only through hard work and production by everyone that national prosperity could be achieved. Every stoppage of production, from whatever cause, bit into the national economy and made recovery harder.
