UNMARRIED MOTHER’S CLAIM SUCCEEDS
London, Dec. 20. Miss Inger Norclentoft, 42-year-old unmarried prospective mother and principal of one of Copenhagen's largest schools, has won her fight against the Danish School Board, which has decided to grant her leave and keep her position open for her. She had Stated earlier that she was becoming a mother in April. Miss Nordentoft, who was recently elected to Parliament as a Communist candidate, informed the Danish School Board of this and an into view published in the Berlinkstudenelp quotes her as saying: “The public has given me the responsibility for other peoples childien. Why then should I not be able Io bring up a child of my own? 1 definitely think I should be allowed to return Io work as school principal.”
