SIT-DOWN,HOSPITAL STRIKE
London, Dec. 23. A sit-down strike, threatening to spread throughout the country, has started in all Copenhagen hospitals, says the Exchange Telegraph’s Copenhagen correspondent. The dispute arose over the return to one hospital of the chief doctor, who was recently cleared by the medical board of charges about his behaviour during the occupation When the doctor returned, his hospital staff, except doctors and nurses, struck. Staffs at other hospitals decided to follow suit, demanding that the doctor appear be' fore a c’.vil servants’ court. The strike will end to-morrow, says a later message. The hospital board gave in and decided to suspend the doctor, who will be tried before a court of civil servants.
