VICE-REGAL (F.A.) Auckland, Nov. 23. lhe Governor-General, attended by Major H. A. Jaffrey, has arrived al Government House. Mr. M. clay has been elected club captain of the Wanganui Rowing Club. Recently returned after five years’ active service, Mr. Clay held the rank of major. He is a former Wanganui representative oarsman and Rugby footballer.
