COAL FROM WESTPORT FOR RALWAYS
no shipping available (P A.) Westport, Nov. 22. With no shipping available in the past two days, the Railway Department. is railing large quantities of coal to the east coast from West port, and as preference is given to those coals required for the railways and gasworks, not. enough waggons arc available for supplies of brown coal from the Charleston fields. For the most of the week output from those mines has been reduced by the shortage of waggons, and to-day none were available and the same conditions will exist to-morrow. The Railways Department claims that sufficient waggons have been made available to the Charleston mines to cover all east coast orders.
