BULGARIAN ELECTIONS
OPPOSITION TO THEM BEING HELD Recd. 8.40 p.m. London, Nov. 16. Prominent members of the Bulgarian Social Democrat Opposition have called on the Regent and asked for action to postpone Sunday’s elections, says the Associated Press Sofia correspondent. The leader of the opposition Social Democrats, Mr. Lulchev, said the postponement was most important. The Bulgarian people did not wan| these elections, he said. “The elections are a home question which should be decided in our country without foreign interference,” he added.
There was a clear warning in Lulchev’s statement that if the elections were held in the present tense atmosphere casualties could be expected.
