ATTEND THEATRE WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS
Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 14. The of the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose to the theatre on Monday night for the first time without their parents, when they sat in the stalls with two young Guards officers and two ladies in waiting, was the beginning of a freer fife for them. A Court official told the “Daily Mail” th? King and Queen had decided, now the war is over. that the Princesses must go about more freelv by themselves, with friend', of their own choosing, and “live the normal lives of two young girls.”
The official added that the Princesses will choose their own friends. There is no foundation for a rumour that there is a special rota of officers kept to go a . escorts for the Princesses.
