WANGANUI AMATEUR BODY? REVIVAL After Heine; in recess during the war years, the Wanganui Amateur Cine Society has recommenced activities, the annual general meeting having been held on Monday evening at the General Machinery Company’s rooms. Taupo Quay. With so many amateur cine photographers in th? armed forces, It was found impossible to keep up satisfaotory attendance during war operations, but many new members have joined since the cessation of hostilities. Ah opportunity is provided for Wanganui cine photographers to further their interest in the hobby bv attending the monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month. Officers elected for the ensuing year were: Chairman. Mr. C. Fowler; secretary, Mr. G. F. Al ward; committee, Messrs. Crafar, Coull, Broughton, Young and New. At the conclusion of the meeting a sound film, “How Movies are Made,’’ was screened.
