TRIUMPH FOR TITO
YUGOSLAV-ELECTIONS OVERWHELMING MAJORITY VOTE AGAINST KING AND POLITICIANS IN EXILE Reed. 8 p.m. London, Nov. 13. Marshal Tito's National Front candidates secured overwhelming majorities in Sunday's general elections in Yugoslavia, which passed off without incident. In Belgrade 91 per cent, of the electorate voted of whom 81 per cent, voted for a representative of the National Front. In Dubrovnik 83 per cent, voted, 81 per cent, for the Na-
tional Front; in Sarajevo the proportion was 96 per cent., 87 for the National Front; in Sibenik, 98 per cent., all for the National Front; in Split, 98 per cent., 96 per cent, of whom were for Tito’s party, and in Susak 99 per cent, voted and they were all for the National Front.
A correspondent adds that the result was a triumph for the National Liberation Movement, and will be interpreted as a vote against the past and all that went, with it, including the King and politicians in exile.
