U.S. AIR FORCE’S TASK Recd. 8 p.m. Washington. Nov. 12 The chief of the United Slate All Force, General Arnold, revealed that the Army Air Foices are at present making a complete large-scale photographic map ot Germany. "We want .nis bird's eye view o .he enemy we defeated twice within a generation—just in ease,” .he sai... He added that accurate large-seal up-to-date maps are a first essential in aerial wai fare. They cannot be produced in time of war; therefore, a major peace-time efi’o t must b given to a mapping programme covering all the potential battle areas.
