TO COMMUNE MTTH SPIRIT OF HIS ANCESTORS Recd. 11 p.m. Tokio, Nov. 12. Emperor Hirohito, without a sword and wearing a new dark blue uniform, boarded a maroon Imperial train today to go to Ise, where he will report the end of the war to the spirits of his ancestors. The Communist Party appealed for the formation of a Popular Front and announced a platform, including the seizure and distribution to farmers of much of the nation's agricultural lands; also workers ’control of the major industries, severe punishment of the Japanese war criminals, and officials guilty of maladmini-/ration.
