THREE N.Z. AIRMEN RECEIVE D.F.C. AWARDS
Recd. 6 p.m. London, Nov. 11. The award of the Distinguished Flying Cross to three New Zealand airmen for distinguished service on operations overseas was announced to-day by the Air Department. The recipients are Flight - Lieutenant George Douglas Thorpe. whose mother is Mrs. W. Thorpe, of Wellington, Flight-Lieutenant William George Mart, whose father is Mr. G. Mart, of Wellington an--’ Flight-Lieu-tenant Colin James McDonald, whose father is Mr. D. C. McDonald, oD Christchurch.
